Notes:

- Yes, there is a very good reason Sal survived that. You'll see by the end of this round, hehe.

- Everett isn't dead by the way, just clarifying. The roof didn't fall ON him, just... like a cave-in that separates people kind of.

- I'm aware that fire is too big. It's like this wall of fire whoops. Honestly you can chalk it up to me not wanting to draw a bunch of empty burning ballroom shots. xD Just... pretend it's not THAT bad, ok?

This page was done... 3rd in the round and it's been done for a long while, thus the lines. <8D I didn't get to color it as much as I wanted, but I think that the color is kind of a lost cause anyway. The BGs w/ only fire look flat and the light is wrong. And too much red yuck. The art in this page is wonk too, like R1 wonk- just the anatomy and that "fight" is so dang stiff it's awful, which is a pity b/c an Ev/Sal fight coulda been boss if it were longer/better- I was trying a new speedier method and let's say it didn't work. xD I like the top panels tho.

_{And oh boy. This page. I've been particularly nervous about posting this one in particular, just b/c of the deal w/ Everett. I'm still nervous. Okay, now, I personally believe that Everett's character type could be made to go to such an extreme, if he genuinely believed it was for the greater good- end justifies the means mentality, you know? Seeing as he's supposed to go for diplomacy first, I tried to make it clear in the last page (and here) that talking either Stratus or Sal down wouldn't work, leading him to go to such a pole. I really, reeeaallly hope I communicated this effectively in-comic, haha.}
